TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1)

CLOSING DATE (AT 11:00): 30 OCTOBER 2026

MJT/ Siyalu JV invites Joint Ventures from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for undertaking Stakeholder Engagement, Social Facilitation and Recruitment Support Services for the implementation of the Upgrading of National ROAD R573 SECTION 2 FROM KM -0.50 TO KM 48.16.

This project is in the province of Mpumalanga and in the Thembisile Hani Local Municipality, which is part of Nkangala District Municipality, and the approximate duration is 36 months, commencing in December 2026.

Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

The tenderers will be evaluated on functionality (quality) criteria with a threshold of 75% evaluation points out of 100% for Functionality as stated in the Tender Data, Clause 4.1.1 will be considered eligible to tender.

Joint Ventures (JV) shall be required with the Lead Partner being suitably experienced consulting firms and the Targeted Partner being a Targeted Enterprise as defined in the tender data.

Only tenders that comply with the following B-BBEE contributor status levels are eligible to tender:

·        The Joint Venture shall have a consolidated project specific B-BBEE scorecard of status Level 1 or 2.

·        Lead Partner must have a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1 or 2.

·        Targeted Partner must have a B-BBEE contributor level of 1 or 2.

Tenderers must have access to Microsoft © Office 2013 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software.

Tenderers must submit, via email, SANRAL@mjtconsulting.co.za the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to 13 October 2026.  Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.
