Batalala Consulting Engineers invites tenders on behalf of the Applicant, the South African National Roads Agency SOC limited, for the Subservice of managing the environmental process and monitoring environmental compliance during construction for THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE MIDDELBURG EASTERN RING ROAD ON NATIONAL ROUTE N11 SECTIONS 9 AND 10. This project is in the province of Mpumalanga and in the district municipality of Nkangala. The approximate programme for design is to be completed by April 2027, followed by construction monitoring of 36 months, commencing February 2028.

Only tenderers who meet the minimum requirements for Key Persons and are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database as stated in the Tender Data, Clause 4.1.1 are eligible to tender.

TENDER DOCUMENTS

Tender documents are available at no cost in electronic format from the SANRAL website using the following link https://www.nra.co.za/service-provider-zone/tenders/open-tenders/. Tenderers must have access to Microsoft © Office 2013 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software.

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender within seven (7) days from the tender advertisement date (01 June 2026).  Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS
