UNDER CONTRACT NRA X.002-117-2020/1 GAUTENG FREEWAY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (FMS) – DESIGN, BUILD, OPERATE AND MAINTAIN

T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (SBD1)    

Tolcon Group (Pty) Ltd appointed by The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (“SANRAL”) for the GAUTENG FREEWAY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (FMS) - DESIGN, BUILD, OPERATE AND MAINTAIN contract invites tenders for the sub-contract for the PROVISION OF A PROTOCOL TRANSLATOR FOR TRAFFIC COUNT DATA (TMH 14 FORMAT) TO NTCIP DATA FORMAT TO BE USED IN THE ADVANCED TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (ATMS) for 36 months (CONTRACT NRA X.002-117-2020/1/SC-1).

Only service providers who can demonstrate credit and financial viability will be considered for appointment.

B-BBEE contributor status will be evaluated in accordance with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and its Regulations and will form part of the preference point system.

Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

TENDERERS’ BRIEFING AND TRAINING 

A non-compulsory tender clarification briefing session with representatives of the Client, Contractor and Engineer will take place at online on Microsoft Teams on 24^th June 2026 at 11h00.

Prospective tenderers must pre-book for the clarification briefing. FORM A1.1 CERTIFICATE OF INTENTION TO SUBMIT A TENDER must be submitted by email to jan@itsglobal.co.za before 11:00 on 23 June 2026 to receive the invitation to the briefing session.

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS 

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 14:00am on 7 July 2026.
