Demonstrated experience of tendering entity

Demonstrated experience of the tendering entity with respect to projects for routine road maintenance, period maintenance and special maintenance in the past fifteen (15) years measured per linear km on National, Provincial or Municipal roads:

0.15 points for every linear km for work executed as a main contractor or a subcontractor. 

Tenderers shall submit an award letter, Completion Certificate and a fully completed Reference Letter (Form B1.1) for each completed contract claimed. The reference letter shall have the Name and Logo of the Entity, company address, contact number, signature of the official authoring the letter as well as his/her designation.

Ongoing contracts that have been in execution for more than three (3) years will also be considered, provided that a fully completed Reference Letter and Award letter (Form B1.2) is submitted. A Completion Certificate is not required for such ongoing contracts.

Where no award letter or Completion Certificate and/or reference letter is provided for claimed projects, no points shall be awarded.

Score Calc. = Length of (project (in kilometres) 1+ 2 + 3 + 4 + 5) x 0.15 = Total Score

Eg. (165 + 100 + 35) x 0.15 = 45 points
